Yussuf holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering (Structures) from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan (2007) and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Project Management from Preston University, Islamabad Campus, Pakistan (2005). He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila, Pakistan (2003).
Currently serving as the CEO and Senior Civil Engineer at ABYAN CONSULTING LTD in east Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya, Yussuf has been instrumental in the design and supervision of various residential, commercial, and industrial structures. His role involves overseeing large-scale projects, including office buildings, hospitals, high-rise towers, and water/sewerage infrastructure. Some of his notable projects include the design and supervision of Aflah Apartments, Naim Tower, Golden Tower, and Darajo Tower in Nairobi.
Yussuf has also contributed to various projects in Somalia and Kenya, serving as an IDP Resettlement Advisor for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and a Consultant Engineer for UNDP/PREP, where he worked on infrastructure development projects such as the design and supervision of markets, playgrounds, and fish markets in Garowe and Galkayo, Somalia.
